About Coaching Across Sports

When I work with an athlete—whether it's a footballer at NorthEast United or a wrestler preparing for a national event—we don't just 'workout.' We identify movement leaks, track GPS load data, and focus on force-velocity profiles. If we aren't measuring your output, we aren't managing your potential. That is the scientific difference between training hard and training smart.

High performance is not a random outcome. It is a system built on evidence. My approach applies the same rigor to every sport, stripping away the hype and focusing on what actually drives performance.

The Methodology My coaching is based on a few non-negotiable principles. First, we establish a baseline. Before you lift a weight or sprint, we test your movement mechanics. We look for imbalances in your kinetic chain. Second, we use periodization. We don't train at 100% all year round. We cycle your load to ensure you peak when it matters most, using wearable data to adjust volume so you don't burn out.

Adapting to Your Sport

  • Team Sports (Football/Cricket): We focus on repeated high-intensity efforts, agility, and injury prevention. In leagues like the ISL or SA20, your ability to recover between matches is as important as your power output.
  • Combat Sports (Wrestling/Kabaddi): Here, force production and eccentric strength are king. We train for dominance in the clinch and stability under chaos.
  • Gymnastics & Skill Sports: We focus on reactivity and mobility. It is about maximizing your power-to-weight ratio while protecting the joints from repetitive stress.

Why This Works I am an engineer by training, so I view the body as a machine. If a bolt is loose, the machine fails. I fix the bolts. We use plyometrics for power, breathwork for nervous system regulation, and cognitive drills to sharpen your reaction time under fatigue. This is about building a robust athlete who stays off the bench and on the field. Theek hai? Let's get to work.
