This is where strength moves from the gym to the pitch. See how we build the explosive power and resilience that top athletes use to own their game.

I believe in a hands-on approach. Here, I'm working with cricketer Rinku Singh on a resistance band drill to improve hip mobility and strength, a key aspect of generating power for batting and preventing lower-body injuries.

This is what it's all about: translating gym power into on-field performance. We build explosive strength with exercises like the barbell front squat, which directly contributes to a fast bowler's speed and a batsman's power, as seen here with Bhuvneshwar Kumar in an IPL match.

Welcome to my dream. This video shows the journey of building my own high-performance gym, from a raw, empty space to a fully equipped facility designed for elite athletes. This is the home of champions, built with a vision for greatness.

The grind behind the glory. This is a look into the intense preparation that professional athletes like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Karn Sharma, and Rinku Singh put in during the off-season. We focus on foundational lifts like deadlifts and power cleans to build the raw strength that fuels their performance.

Speed is not just about running fast; it's about running smart. This clip shows a linear speed training session with cricketers, focusing on running mechanics, acceleration drills, and proper form to improve speed between the wickets and agility on the field.

I use proven methods like Contrast Training to develop both strength and power. This involves pairing a heavy resistance exercise, like a trap bar deadlift, with a similar explosive movement to enhance muscle fiber recruitment and make the athlete more powerful.

On the field, communication is key. Here I am during a training session, discussing strategy and technique with the players. My role extends beyond the gym to ensure the strength we build translates into smart, effective performance during a match.

There's no feeling like being on the ground during an IPL season. Standing in the stadium, I'm completely focused on my athletes' performance, ensuring they are physically and mentally prepared for the high-pressure environment.

I don't train gym-goers, I train athletes. What you see here is a calculated transition from the squat rack to the cricket pitch. If you are struggling with power in your batting or speed in your bowling, this is where we fix the energy leaks, one drill at a time, based on your specific match calendar.

Building Performance, Not Just Muscle

When you see these photos, you are looking at the result of a deliberate process. My training isn't about chasing aesthetic perfection; it is about function. Whether we are doing heavy compound lifts or high-intensity interval conditioning, every movement has a purpose: to translate gym work into on-field dominance.

Why Contrast Training?

You will notice references to 'Contrast Training' in my work with cricketers like Rinku Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. This is a core methodology I use to bridge the gap between strength and speed. By pairing a heavy lift—like a trap bar deadlift—with an explosive plyometric movement, we trick the central nervous system into recruiting more muscle fibers. This is exactly how we generate that extra yard of pace for a bowler or the rotational power for a batter to clear the boundary.

The 'Man Ke Jeete Jeet Hai' Mindset

Training is 50% physical and 50% mental. If you aren't mentally prepared to push past the fatigue, the physical training won't hold up in a high-pressure IPL match. I work with athletes to build that mental resilience alongside their physical capacity. We focus on:

  • Sport-Specific Conditioning: Moving away from generic cardio to interval drills that simulate match-day demands.
  • Injury Prevention: Mobility routines and stability work that keep you available for selection.
  • Periodization: Adjusting your intensity based on whether you are in the off-season or right in the middle of a tournament.

This is a partnership. We define your goals, we execute the plan, and we keep pushing until you hit your peak.

I’m Surya. I spend my days pushing athletes to find that extra gear, whether we’re in the gym or out on the turf. It’s about building strength that actually works under pressure, with a bit of grit and good energy thrown in.
