Authentic Homemade Pickles Made with Traditional Spices
Dadi-style pickles crafted in small batches using sun-dried spices and pure mustard oil. Real taste, no preservatives.
A look at the variety of pickles I offer. This video shows my Methi (fenugreek), Adrak (ginger), Mix Veg, and Haldi (turmeric) achaars, all lined up and ready.
Here you can see my wide range of homemade pickles, ladoos, and namkeens at one of my market stalls. I have everything from Punjabi Aam Achaar to Nimbu Digestive Masala.
The secret to my achaar is the spices. I use a blend of pure, aromatic spices to give every pickle its unique, traditional flavour.
About A World of Homemade Pickles (Achaar)
When you open a jar of my achaar, you won't find it swimming in excess oil. I keep the oil quantity strictly to what is needed for preservation because I believe the star of the show should be the hand-ground spices and fresh produce. It is a subtle difference you notice the moment you taste it, and it makes the pickle much lighter to enjoy with your daily meals.
I believe that food should be made the old-school way—with patience and care. My pickles are not mass-produced in a factory; they are made in small batches right out of my own kitchen. I source fresh produce and sun-dry my spices to lock in the aroma.
Why my pickles are different
- Hand-ground spices: I source whole spices and grind them myself. This ensures the flavour is punchy and authentic, unlike the pre-mixed powders you find in stores.
- No artificial preservatives: My recipes rely on traditional preservation methods, using the right balance of salt, oil, and citrus or vinegar to keep the pickle fresh for weeks.
- Quality Ingredients: From organic turmeric (haldi) to fresh ginger (adrak) and seasonal vegetables, I only use what I would feed my own family.
Popular Varieties
Whether you are looking for the classic tang of Punjabi Aam Achaar, the digestive kick of Nimbu Masala, or seasonal specialties like Haldi and Methi, my collection covers the staples of a traditional Indian kitchen.
If you are in Delhi NCR, you can pick up a jar directly from me, or I can have them shipped anywhere in India. If you have a specific request—perhaps you want your pickle less spicy or need a gift hamper for a festival—just message me. I love customizing jars to suit your preference.
