About Traditional Indian Sweets (Mithai)
Why I Make Mithai
I started Mommade because I wanted to keep my family’s food traditions alive. My mithai is all about sharing that old-school, Maa ke hath ka swaad (taste of a mother's hands), no fuss, just real ingredients and honest flavours.
My Way of Making Sweets
- Every piece of mithai comes straight out of my kitchen, always homemade and fresh. I’m picky about what I use - everything’s natural, no preservatives, nothing artificial.
- I go for jaggery over white sugar in most recipes, and I keep oil to a minimum, so you get a treat that feels good, not heavy.
What’s in My Mithai Box
- Panjiri Ladoos: Winter classic, made with roasted atta, nuts, and pure ghee. Good for immunity, great for those days when your body just needs a little TLC.
- Besan Ladoos: Simple, timeless, kinda like childhood in a bite.
- Badam Ladoos: Rich, made with loads of almonds. Perfect for sharing at family get-togethers.
- Aam Papad: Two styles - Meetha (sweet) and Khatta Meetha (sweet & sour). It’s that tangy treat everyone fights over.
- Masala Gud: Spiced jaggery block for a quick, healthy sweet fix.
Options and Customisation
If you want sugar-free mithai options, I can sort that out for you. Just ask, I’ll make it work.
Gifting and Festivals
I pack my homemade mithai boxes so they’re ready to gift for Diwali or any celebration. You can mix and match for organic festive treats and create your own hamper. Sharing is caring, na?

My Story
People look at me funny when I say I kicked off MomMade at 72! Interior design was my life, but my soul hung out in the kitchen. Lockdown slowed things down, I started sending comfort food to family. My husband, a true foodie, always cheered me on. Matarani guides me, so I keep it pure - old-school recipes, organic stuff, no preservatives. What you get is maa ka pyaar (mother’s love) in every jar.
My Work
Homemade Pickles, Sweets, Savouries & Drinks - I make homemade achaar, organic panjiri, jaggery ladoos, mathis, namakpara, and more. Jee bhar ke khao!
Maa Ke Hath Ka Swaad - Every batch is made with love, care, and hygiene. It’s home, packed in a jar.
Organic & Healthy Ingredients - Only natural, organic stuff. Jaggery instead of sugar, less oil. Health matters, boss!
Fresh & Small Batch Goodies - No mass production. Only small, fresh batches so you get real, preservative-free taste.
