This is the story of how I started Mommade at the age of 75. I turned my lifelong passion for traditional, pure food into a small business, using the age-old recipes I learned from my mother. It’s all about sharing that authentic, homemade taste made with 100% natural and organic ingredients.
It was a pleasure to have journalist Ravish Kumar visit my stall at The Earth Collective market. I am always so happy to share my homemade ladoos and other treats with everyone who stops by.
I love setting up my stall at The Earth Collective market at Sunder Nursery. This poster shows a bottle of my homemade mango beverage, a perfect example of the natural, refreshing drinks I prepare.
The taste of 'Maa ke Hath ka Achaar' is a memory I want to share with everyone. My kitchen, 'Maa ki Rasoi', is now open to you with just a phone call, bringing you the pure taste of home.

What Makes My Beverages Special

I grew up with Maa making summer coolers, and that’s exactly the feeling I want to share. Each bottle I make carries that home touch - homemade, not factory-made, with the real maa ke hath ka swaad (taste of a mother's hands) you just can't fake.

  • I use only natural, organic ingredients. No chemicals, no shortcuts.
  • Every batch is small, so the flavours stay fresh and authentic.
  • Some drinks, like Aam Panna and Kanji, are only available when the season is right. I won't mess around with out-of-season stuff.

My Range of Summer Refreshers

  • Aam Panna: That classic raw mango taste, tangy and sweet. The ultimate homemade mango beverage.
  • Lemon Squash: Bright, zesty, and pure.
  • Mango Squash: Sunshine in a bottle.
  • Gingerelle: Ginger, zesty and strong.
  • Badam Sharbat: Almond, rich and nourishing.
  • Kanji: Tangy, fermented carrot - a proper traditional summer cooler recipe.

How to Enjoy

The squashes are full-on flavour. Mix a bit with cold water or soda, toss in ice - that’s it. Jee bhar ke piyo (drink to your heart's content). No preservatives, just small batch Indian drinks made with care.

My Story

People look at me funny when I say I kicked off MomMade at 72! Interior design was my life, but my soul hung out in the kitchen. Lockdown slowed things down, I started sending comfort food to family. My husband, a true foodie, always cheered me on. Matarani guides me, so I keep it pure - old-school recipes, organic stuff, no preservatives. What you get is maa ka pyaar (mother’s love) in every jar.

My Work

Homemade Pickles, Sweets, Savouries & Drinks - I make homemade achaar, organic panjiri, jaggery ladoos, mathis, namakpara, and more. Jee bhar ke khao!

Maa Ke Hath Ka Swaad - Every batch is made with love, care, and hygiene. It’s home, packed in a jar.
