About this collection
I prepare my Thandai in small, careful batches using a traditional grinding technique for the spice and nut paste, which is why the flavor is so distinct from processed, mass-market alternatives. Each 200ml bottle is sealed fresh, containing pure almonds, saffron, and aromatic spices, intended to be enjoyed chilled with your family during gatherings or celebrations.
My Thandai is more than a beverage. It is a liquid celebration, rooted in the heritage of Jodhpur and refined for the modern palate in Bengaluru. I avoid all artificial preservatives, meaning the shelf life is short and the quality is absolute. When you open a bottle, you are getting the essence of handpicked almonds that have been soaked and ground to a velvety consistency, then infused with high-grade saffron and rose petals.
Why it differs from store-bought
Most commercial drinks rely on powders or essences, but my recipe relies on the actual fruit and nut pulp. You will see the texture in every sip, a hallmark of real, slow-crafted ingredients. It is dense, flavorful, and incredibly nourishing, which is why I label it the Elixir of Vitality.
How to serve
These bottles are designed for ease, but the presentation matters. Whether you are hosting a small family puja or a larger festive event, I offer these in curated wooden baskets or elegant gift hampers. Serve them chilled in glass tumblers, perhaps garnished with a few dried rose petals or a sliver of pistachio to match the visual aesthetic of the bottle.
Ordering for events
Because everything is made fresh from scratch in my Basavanagudi kitchen, I recommend planning your order in advance, especially during peak festive seasons like Holi or Diwali. This ensures I can source the freshest dry fruits and prepare your batch with the attention it deserves.
