Residential Homes That Breathe: Sustainable Living Designs

We build spaces that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. From floating roofs to light-filled courtyards, our homes aren't just lived in—they breathe with you.

With its floating roof and expansive glass walls, this living room feels like it is suspended in nature. The design creates an airy, open atmosphere where sunlight and garden views are the main features.

This view of the living room highlights the integration of the client's art collection. We design spaces that not only connect with the outdoors but also serve as a personal gallery for the things you love.

A wooden deck extends the living space into the garden, creating a perfect spot for relaxation. The glass roof provides shelter without obstructing the view, framing the outdoors as a key part of the home's design.

This outdoor seating area is surrounded by a vertical garden and a tranquil water body. We use landscape design to create distinct zones that offer different ways to experience and enjoy the connection to nature.

This bedroom in a Bengaluru home uses a monochromatic palette with shades of grey, complemented by a warm, fluted wood wall. A cozy window seat provides a perfect nook for reading while enjoying the view.

The "Greyceful Light" concept for this bedroom focuses on soft, diffused natural light. Sheer blinds and a calm color scheme create a serene and restful environment, framed by large windows overlooking the trees.

We designed this bedroom to be a multi-functional space. It includes a dedicated study area and a unique, built-in lounge space, demonstrating how we tailor interiors to support our clients' lifestyles.

About this collection

What makes our homes different is the deliberate use of passive design. We map sun paths and wind patterns for every site before we draw a single wall. This isn't just theory; it is why our living rooms stay cool in Bengaluru summers and why your kitchen gets natural light without needing heavy electricity. We prioritize reclaimed materials and existing structures, so your home starts with character from day one, not just after you move in.

Our approach to residential architecture is rooted in the belief that a home should be an extension of the earth, not a box that sits on top of it.

The 'Inside-Out' Philosophy

When we design a home, we look at the landscape first. Instead of deciding where walls go, we look at where the wind moves, where the trees stand, and how light hits the site at noon. We use techniques like floating roofs, indoor courtyards, and vertical gardens to make sure that even when you are inside, you feel connected to the outdoors.

Materials That Age Gracefully

We are a bit obsessive about materials. We prefer exposed concrete, reclaimed teak, Athangudi tiles, and lime plaster. These materials don't just look good when new; they age with the house, developing a patina that tells your story. In our projects, you will often find exposed wire-cut brick masonry or rammed earth walls, which provide natural thermal comfort and distinct texture that mass-produced finishes cannot match.

A Collaborative Process

We are not into cookie-cutter floor plans. Every home is a cooperation of design, art, and what you actually love. We work with local artists to bring unique details into your space, whether it is a hand-plastered pattern on the wall, an arched niche, or a custom-built masonry lounge. If you are renovating, we prioritize adaptive reuse, keeping the history of the building intact while updating it for modern needs.

Whether it is a multi-monochromatic space in Bengaluru or a vernacular-inspired villa, our goal is to build spaces where nature and architecture coexist without intrusion.
