Enchanting Mandaps
The mandap is the heart of your ceremony where your story unfolds. Whether you dream of a sacred temple vibe with marigolds or a modern canopy of lights, I craft these spaces to feel intimate, intentional, and uniquely yours.
A dreamy, minimal mandap design perfect for an intimate garden wedding. We created a breathtaking curtain of tuberose garlands framed by lush greenery and banana leaves, with elegant seating for the couple.
A magical evening ceremony under the stars. We created this enchanting atmosphere with hundreds of hanging bulbs and crystal chandeliers, illuminating a traditional marigold mandap. The aisle was a carpet of fresh petals.
This chic temple style mandap was designed with a full arch of orange marigolds and banana leaves. The setup transitions beautifully from day to night, with hanging bulbs creating a warm glow after sunset.
A truly unique and artistic mandap for a modern couple. We used a custom white iron frame with hand-painted floral details, adorned with lush arrangements of crimson and pink flowers for a romantic, whimsical feel.
A sacred moment under a canopy of flowers. This view from within the mandap shows the couple during their ceremony, surrounded by a cascade of tuberose garlands that created a beautifully intimate and fragrant space.
A minimal and thoughtful wedding ceremony. The couple is seated in a simple yet elegant mandap, and guests are given cones of petals and little bells to ring during the pheras, making everyone a part of the celebration.
A modern and elegant rooftop wedding ceremony. We designed a floating floral canopy of purple and pink blooms over the mandap, with the city skyline as a stunning backdrop.
A beautiful portrait of the couple after their wedding ceremony. They stand before a backdrop of colorful flower strings and banana leaves, a perfect blend of traditional elements and vibrant colors.
Creating a magical vibe with lighting is one of my favorite things to do. For this outdoor wedding, we hung chandeliers and string lights from the trees, casting a warm, romantic glow over the entire ceremony area.
For this Catholic wedding, we created a beautiful 'Order of Service' booklet with custom icons to guide guests through the ceremony. It's a small detail that adds a lot of thoughtfulness and clarity.
About Enchanting Mandaps
I believe the mandap should feel like a sanctuary, not just a photo backdrop. Whether we are styling a traditional South Indian setup with fresh banana leaves or a clean floral arch, I ensure the structural design allows for enough space for the rituals to happen comfortably. I focus on creating an environment that feels grounded, intimate, and perfectly framed for your photographer.
Your wedding ceremony is the most significant part of the day, and the design around it should reflect that. When I approach mandap styling, I look for ways to blend your cultural roots with a minimal, modern aesthetic.
Designing Your Sacred Space
- Traditional Elements: I often use elements like brass lamps, banana leaves, and marigold garlands to ground the ceremony in tradition. These are not just decorations, but symbols of warmth and auspiciousness that create a homey atmosphere.
- Modern & Minimalist: If you prefer a contemporary look, I move towards floral canopies, clean fabric drapes, and ambient lighting that emphasizes the couple rather than the props.
- The Viewing Experience: I am careful about mandap height and chair placement. It is crucial that your guests have a clear, unobstructed view of the pheras while feeling included in the sacred moment.
Planning with Purpose
I treat every setup as a collaborative project. We discuss what feels right for you—be it an outdoor garden setting under the trees or an elegant indoor ceremony. I prioritize sustainable, fresh blooms and local materials, which not only looks better but also aligns with a more mindful approach to wedding planning. Whether you are planning a small, intimate wedding or a grander celebration, the goal remains the same: to create a space where you can share your vows in peace and beauty.
