Sacred Vows: Wedding Mandap Designs
The mandap is the heart of your union. I design these sacred spaces to reflect your unique journey, blending traditional roots with modern artistry to create a breathtaking backdrop for your vows.
For this spectacular wedding, I designed a mandap that was a true floral masterpiece. A transparent dome structure is adorned with a dense canopy of pink, white, and red flowers, creating a heavenly space for the ceremony. The silver traditional seating adds a touch of regal elegance.

From behind the scenes to the final reveal, this video shows the transformation of the space into an ethereal mandap. The structure is draped in white and green blooms with a lotus-themed backdrop, creating a stage for a union steeped in tradition and love.
About Sacred Vows: Wedding Mandaps
Beyond just flowers, I focus on the architecture of the mandap. Whether it is integrating a hand-carved Ganesha idol, ensuring a clear view for guests by using transparent structures, or designing custom-printed floral flooring that flows into the aisle, I ensure every element feels intentional.
Creating a mandap is about more than aesthetics; it is about engineering a focal point that holds the energy of the ceremony. For indoor ceremonies, I often use structural elements like transparent domes or ceiling drapes that allow me to hang dense floral canopies without obscuring the venue's architecture. In outdoor settings, such as at the JW Marriott Juhu or destination spots like Raffles Udaipur, I focus on framing the natural scenery while keeping the mandap the absolute center of attention.
My mandaps often feature heavy-duty box truss systems, fully masked so the structure disappears, leaving only the lush floral volume. I play with textures—mixing Dutch roses with fresh foliage or incorporating spiritual elements like a Shreenathji sculpture—to create a sanctuary feel. If you are planning a traditional vidhi or a modern ceremony, let’s discuss the structural possibilities that suit your venue's layout and guest flow. The goal is always to create a space that feels grounded yet ethereal.
