Sacred Mandaps & Ceremonies

About this collection
When I plan your mandap, I move beyond standard rentals to focus on structural integrity and floral density. My team works with your venue’s specific constraints, like wind patterns at outdoor locations or lighting angles in halls, to ensure the canopy remains lush and the pillars stable throughout your ceremony.
Balancing Tradition and Modernity
I view the mandap as a bridge between the old and the new. You might want the traditional feel of Banaras Ghats, featuring brass bells, earthen pots, and dense tuberose strings. Or, you may prefer a modern acrylic structure that provides a clean, minimalist look against a lake or garden backdrop. My process begins by identifying which aesthetic grounds you, and then using material choices—like marigolds for a spiritual vibe or floating florals for a contemporary feel—to make it happen.
The Logistics of a Sacred Space
A beautiful mandap requires careful engineering. If you are getting married at a location like Oleander Farms, we assess the ground surface to ensure the stage is level. For indoor ceremonies, I look at ceiling heights to determine if we can rig geometric structures or heavy floral installations without blocking sightlines. Lighting is critical here. I prefer warm, focused spots that highlight the textures of the pillars and the detail in the floral canopy, rather than flat lighting that washes out the setup.
Designing for the Rituals
Every wedding has specific ritual needs. Whether you require ample space for parents to sit comfortably during the rites, or a raised platform that allows guests to see the exchange of garlands, I design the layout around the flow of the ceremony. We use quality fresh blooms mixed with artificial fillers to maintain volume and height without compromising on the fresh scent and aesthetic that makes a mandap feel authentic.

I am Mukul, and for me, a mandap is where your story truly starts. I do not believe in templates; I build these structures to reflect who you are, whether that means a minimalist aesthetic or a traditional setup echoing the ghats of Banaras.
