Getting a newborn and a pet to pose together is not about giving commands; it is about creating a calm, familiar space where your pet feels included rather than stressed. We take our time to let them get used to the studio environment and the baby's presence, ensuring we capture that genuine, gentle interaction rather than a forced pose.
Bringing your pet into the studio for a newborn session adds a layer of warmth that is hard to replicate. We have worked with everything from tiny pups to patient, older dogs, and our priority is always the safety and comfort of both the baby and the pet.
Our Approach to Pet-Inclusive Shoots
When you book a session that includes pets, we allocate extra time—typically falling within our 4-5 hour premium package—to ensure no one feels rushed. We sanitize the studio before and after, keeping the environment clean and neutral. If your dog is excitable or anxious, we start with simple, candid shots before attempting any closer interactions.
Tips for a Smooth Session
- Familiarity: Bring a favourite toy or blanket that smells like home. It helps your pet settle down faster.
- Exercise: A quick walk before coming to our Bangalore, Coimbatore, or Puducherry studio helps burn off excess energy.
- Safety First: We always use a helper or the parents to supervise closely during the actual shoot. We never leave the baby and pet alone, and we use gentle, non-restrictive posing.
Whether it is a soft, sleepy photo of them napping side-by-side or a curious shot of your dog gently checking out the new family member, these images often end up being the favourites in our clients' albums.
