Nature-Inspired Architectural Designs & Retreats

When we took on this Kodaikanal glamping project, our challenge was to create a rustic retreat that felt like it grew out of the mountain landscape. We relied on tactile, honest materials like exposed concrete, brick-lined pathways, and locally sourced casuarina poles to ensure the structures didn't disrupt the horizon, creating a space where the architecture quietly frames the hills instead of competing with them.

Architecture is rarely just about the floor plan. It is about where you stand, what you see, and how the air moves through the space. We approach these unique projects with the same philosophy we bring to our residential homes: climate-responsiveness, material honesty, and an uncompromising respect for the land. Whether we are reviving a city apartment or designing a retreat in the hills, our focus remains on creating a dialogue between the indoors and the outdoors. We prioritize local materials that age gracefully, avoiding the sterile finishes of modern construction in favor of textures that get better with time. We believe waste is a failure of imagination, which is why you will see us repurposing site debris, using vintage doors, and experimenting with bottle walls.
