Sustainable Architectural Design & Nature-Inspired Interiors
We craft spaces where buildings breathe. From climate-responsive homes to light-filled workspaces, we blend architecture with nature to create living environments, not just structures.
This is what I mean by bringing the outside in. We designed this home with expansive floor-to-ceiling glass walls that dissolve the boundary between the living space and the serene Zen landscape outside, creating a tranquil, immersive experience.
A contemporary villa designed for a compact plot in Bangalore. The structure uses a clean, minimalist aesthetic with strategic lighting that gives the home a warm, inviting glow after sunset, proving that modern design can also feel like a sanctuary.
This project board showcases our design for a climate-responsive corporate office. We used composite materials and terracotta blocks, along with a specially designed roof structure, to maximize natural light and ventilation, creating an energy-efficient and inspiring workspace.
A glimpse of the infinity pool at a wildlife resort we designed in Karnataka. The pool's edge merges with the horizon of the nearby lake, reflecting the surrounding trees and sky. It’s a space designed for quiet reflection and connection with nature.
This terracotta jali wall is more than a decorative feature. It's a climate-control screen that allows for natural airflow while providing shade, an example of how we use traditional techniques in modern residential architecture to create energy-efficient homes.
A conceptual sketch, "The Green Louvre," exploring how a building can be a framework for nature. This is where my process begins, with a hand-drawn idea that puts the relationship between people, structure, and the environment at the forefront.
We design happy spaces filled with daylight. This interior render shows how we use large windows and open layouts to create bright, airy living areas that feel connected to the outdoors, even from within the heart of the home.
The form of this farmhouse is inspired by the simple, powerful geometry of a brick vault. Currently under construction, this project uses locally sourced bricks to create a unique, climate-friendly structure that feels both ancient and modern.
About Featured
One thing you should know is that our design process starts long before the first brick is laid. We spend time analyzing the specific sun path and wind direction of your plot to decide where windows, courtyards, and skylights go. It is not about adding features for looks, but ensuring your home stays cool naturally and saves on energy bills without needing excessive artificial climate control.
Architecture is about how we feel when we walk into a room. At Genesis, we do not just build walls; we create frameworks for nature. Whether you are planning a contemporary villa or a sustainable workspace, our approach is built on a few core principles that you will see in our work:
Climate-Responsive Design Local conditions dictate our form. We integrate passive cooling techniques—think terracotta jali walls for ventilation, strategic skylights, and courtyards that act as the lungs of the house. This reduces reliance on artificial cooling and lighting, making your space naturally energy-efficient.
Honest Materials We love materials that age well. You will often see us using exposed bricks, stone, and terracotta. These are not just aesthetic choices; they are durable, local, and have a thermal mass that keeps interiors comfortable. We believe in building with what is honest.
Indoor-Outdoor Flow Your boundaries should be fluid. We use large sliding glass walls, landscaped corners, and green pockets to dissolve the wall between your living room and your garden. The goal is to make the outside feel like part of your everyday experience.
Our Process We start with hand-drawn sketches to capture the vibe before moving to 3D renders. For our end-to-end projects, we stay on-site for 15-20 visits during construction. We do not just hand over plans and walk away; we ensure that the execution matches the vision on the ground.
If you are ready to build a space that feels alive, let us talk about how your plot’s orientation can influence your design.
