Heavy Bag and Power Training: Build Fight-Ready Strength
Don't just hit a bag. Learn to strike with intent. We use heavy bag drills to build raw power and combat conditioning, exactly how professional fighters train.
I demonstrate a powerful roundhouse kick on the teardrop heavy bag, focusing on speed and impact.
Working on my boxing combinations on the wall-mounted bag, focusing on hooks and uppercuts.
A student practices his punches on the heavy bag, with an emphasis on turning his hips and shoulders for maximum power.
A line of students practicing their kicks on the heavy bags. This kind of synchronized drill builds rhythm and stamina.
A montage showing our WMO Team India athletes in action, from kicking the heavy bag to grappling on the mats.

About this collection
Forget the AC, forget the mirrors. In our non-AC Vidyaranyapura facility, you hit the bag until your technique is clean and your power is real. This isn't cardio for show. We focus on hip rotation, distance, and shin density because that is how you develop the force needed for a real fight. You will sweat, you will struggle, but you will learn that power comes from the core, not just the arms.
Why We Don't Do Easy
Most gyms have you jumping around with no target. Here, we believe the bag is your best opponent. It does not move, it does not get tired, and it teaches you exactly where your power goes. If your form is bad, you feel it immediately.
The Combat Conditioning Difference
We don't just punch. We train functional movement. My students spend rounds on the heavy and teardrop bags to master:
- Hip Generation: Putting your body weight behind every strike, whether it is a roundhouse kick or a hook.
- Shin Conditioning: Hardening the body through impact tolerance, not just lifting weights.
- Volume & Endurance: We do drills like 600 kicks to build the cardio that lasts when a fight gets tough. This is how you prepare for competition.
Traditional Meets Modern
I combine old-school discipline with modern combat science. Whether you are using a Gada for core rotational strength or drilling Muay Thai clinches on the bag, every movement has a purpose. We train in a loud, group-motivation setting where everyone pushes each other. If you are here to look good, go elsewhere. If you are here to learn to fight and get stronger than you ever thought possible, you are in the right place.
Navve gelloru. We are the winners.
