Every space has a story, and it begins long before the first fixture is installed. See how we map out light layers to turn concepts into reality.

Here is a glimpse into my creative process. I start with hand sketches to visualize how light will interact with the architecture, mapping out where different light sources will go to create the desired effect and atmosphere.

This is the finished space from the concept sketch. Seeing the initial drawing come to life is incredibly rewarding. The final lighting perfectly captures the intended layers, from the ambient light in the lounge to the functional light on the mezzanine.

Before any hardware is bought, we use hand sketches and Dialux simulations to verify lux levels and beam angles, so you know exactly how the layers—ambient, task, and accent—will transform your room before we even break ground.

The journey of every project begins with an idea, captured through hand-drawn sketches. This collage shows the initial conceptual explorations for various projects, from large-scale master plans to detailed architectural forms.13

An on-site mock-up in a raw construction space. We use these tests to check the beam angle and intensity of our track lights against the actual surfaces, like this exposed brick wall, ensuring the final effect is exactly as planned.
Here, we are testing the spread of a downlight in an empty room. This helps us determine the right placement and spacing for fixtures to achieve uniform, ambient illumination across the floor without creating dark spots.

Our Design Process: Turning Renders into Built Reality

This stunning render captures our initial vision for the showroom, blending warm herringbone floors with a bold green feature wall and dramatic track lighting. Renders are a crucial step in materializing our concepts.18
Everything starts with a plan. This is the original floor plan for the showroom entrance, mapping out the flow and placement of key functional zones like the reception, waiting lounge, and display areas.
