Good lighting isn't luck; it's physics and careful planning. Here is how we turn blueprints into perfectly illuminated spaces using site-specific testing.

This is where it all begins. Our team is seen here working on CAD designs, collaborating on lighting layouts, and preparing for the ACETECH architectural event. It's this teamwork and meticulous planning that sets the foundation for every successful project.

A glimpse into our collaborative process. Here, we are in discussion with clients and designers, reviewing blueprints and mood boards to develop the perfect lighting strategy that aligns with their vision for the space.

An on-site mock-up in a raw construction space. We use these tests to check the beam angle and intensity of our track lights against the actual surfaces, like this exposed brick wall, ensuring the final effect is exactly as planned.

Here, we are testing the spread of a downlight in an empty room. This helps us determine the right placement and spacing for fixtures to achieve uniform, ambient illumination across the floor without creating dark spots.

This image shows a lux level map, a technical visualization of light intensity and distribution. We use this data to ensure our lighting plans meet the required standards for comfort and functionality in a given space.

Another thermal map demonstrating how our lights will wash a wall. This kind of technical analysis helps us predict exactly how the light will behave, eliminating guesswork and ensuring a flawless final installation.

We often bring our lighting kits directly to our clients' offices for demonstrations. This allows architects and designers to see and feel the quality of our products firsthand and understand how they can be used in their projects.

An exciting update on our new 10,000-square-foot experience center currently under construction. We are building a space where you can experience the full potential of architectural lighting with many first-to-market products and concepts.

An exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our preparations for the Acetech exhibition. From designing the booth layout to selecting the products for display, we put immense effort into creating an inspiring and engaging experience.

About The ATCOM Process: From Mock-up to Install

Lighting feels right when it is engineered, not guessed. Before we install a single fixture, we run lux heat maps and conduct on-site mock-ups to see exactly how light hits your walls and workspaces. This eliminates shadows, glare, and those dark corners nobody notices until the furniture is already in place.

We believe that great lighting is about science as much as aesthetics. Our process starts long before the final switch-on.

1. Site Planning

We use CAD and computer-generated lux maps to plot every light. We know exactly where the shadows will fall before we even pick up a screwdriver. This technical foundation prevents uneven brightness and ensures your functional areas are well-lit.

2. On-Site Mock-ups

Seeing is believing. We bring our magnetic track systems, COB lights, and profiles directly to your site to test them against your actual surfaces. Whether it is an exposed brick wall or a finished office ceiling, we test the beam angles and intensity on-site. If the effect isn't perfect, we adjust the layout right then and there.

3. Execution

We do not just drop off boxes of fixtures. We provide a full bill of quantities and guide your site electricians on cutting profiles and fitting drivers. This ensures the final installation matches the design plan exactly, with zero guesswork.

Whether it is a high-CRI retail setup or an anti-glare office environment, our goal is to ensure you never have to deal with flickering lights or poor illumination later on.
