My design process starts with defining how your team actually uses the space. We look at the requirements for focus pods, collaborative zones, and reception areas separately.

Instead of uniform ceiling fixtures, I build layers. We start with general ambient lighting to establish a comfortable base level. Then, we add focused task lighting to reduce eye strain, specifically calculated using Dialux simulations to meet optimal Lux levels for your specific industry. Finally, we integrate accent lighting to highlight architectural details or brand features, which helps define the office identity.

Beyond Function: The Tech Specs

Every office has different needs, especially in the era of hybrid work. I focus heavily on video-conference calibration in conference rooms, ensuring the lighting creates flattering facial illumination and proper contrast ratios so your team looks professional during meetings. For the technical side, I provide detailed RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plan) drawings and circuiting layouts, so your electrician has clear, error-free instructions. This includes detailed BOQs to ensure you source cost-effective, high-quality fixtures without overspending on unnecessary hardware.

Working Together

My goal is to integrate these lighting solutions seamlessly into your interior design. Whether you are working with an architect or refreshing an existing space, I coordinate directly with the design team to ensure joinery lighting in shelves and cabinets is wired correctly before the furniture is built. We start with sketches and end with a focusing session where I visit the site to manually aim and adjust track lights, ensuring the final output matches the initial vision perfectly.
