Timeless Family & Legacy Portraits
I believe family bonds deserve to be captured as art. Whether it is the quiet strength of your parents or the laughter of your children, let's freeze these memories into heirlooms you will hold onto forever.
A portrait of my parents, the heart of our family. Capturing them together is a way to honor their legacy and freeze a moment of their love and connection in time. The classic red saree and white kurta create a timeless look.
The same portrait in black and white, which adds a different layer of emotion and timelessness. It focuses purely on their expressions and the gentle way they hold each other.
I feel so blessed to have this amazing woman as my mother-in-law. Her kindness and support are a gift, and capturing her grace and elegance in this beautiful red saree was an honor.
This portrait of my parents in traditional Punjabi attire is a tribute to our roots. I wanted to recreate the essence of a Punjabi village in my studio, honoring their culture and creating a memory I will cherish forever.
A classic family portrait in black and white. This image beautifully captures the beginning of a new family, with the parents holding their newborn baby close. It's a moment of pure love and connection.
A father's gentle love. This portrait shows a dad with his two children, his newborn son sleeping peacefully in his arms while his daughter rests her head on his shoulder.
A heartwarming reel dedicated to the arrival of a new baby. It shows tender moments between the newborn and his mother, father, and big sister, celebrating the love that surrounds him.
This family session was dripping in cuteness. From the adorable 4-month-old baby to the proud parents and big brother, this reel is full of snuggles, giggles, and pure family joy.
I set out to create a serious portrait, but the kids had other plans. This reel captures the beautiful, unexpected chaos of motherhood, filled with unstoppable giggles and joy.
This reel is guaranteed to make you smile. Capturing the bond between these three siblings was so much fun, and their infectious energy and love for each other shines through in every frame.
About Family & Legacy Portraits
I often hear that family photos feel stiff, but that is the opposite of what happens in my Powai studio. We spend time getting everyone comfortable first—whether it is encouraging your parents to share a real smile or letting the kids just be themselves. The goal is to capture the messy, beautiful reality of your bond, not just a posed lineup.
When we talk about family and legacy portraits, I am really talking about the anchor points of your life. Your parents' smiles, the way your children hold your hand, the quiet looks of love—these are the things that fade if we do not intentionally hold onto them.
My studio in Powai is designed to be a calm space where this feels natural. You are not on a ticking clock; we take the time needed for everyone to settle in. If you are worried about what to wear, we will discuss that during our pre-shoot consultation. I suggest keeping outfits simple and timeless—think neutral tones or traditional wear that reflects your roots—so the focus stays on the people, not the clothes.
Whether you are celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary or simply documenting the daily chaos of raising toddlers, these portraits serve as a bridge between generations. My editing process is careful and intentional, focusing on skin texture and genuine emotion rather than heavy filters. You walk away with high-resolution digital files that can be printed as large-format canvases or framed for your home. These images become the visual history of your family, something your children will look back on with warmth when they are older.
