When you are choosing a spot for a live gig, you are usually picking between a sterile hall or a noisy pub. Lilanoor is neither. This is a black box studio with sound-absorbing panels that keeps acoustic sets crisp and intimate. Because the space is compact, your audience sits close to the performance, creating that rare, honest connection that often gets lost in larger venues.
We built this space as a home for artists, not just a commercial rental hall. If you are an indie musician or part of an ensemble looking to perform in South Delhi, our studio offers a flexible setup that adapts to your act.
The Setup
The studio is a black box space with neutral white brick walls and professional lighting. We provide an overhead LED grid and a PA system with a mixing console, which is ideal for acoustic-friendly gigs, ghazal nights, or chamber music. You can switch between traditional chair seating or our 'Baithak' style floor rugs with cushions, allowing you to configure the room to match the mood of your music.
Why Perform Here
We host a range of artists, from solo storytellers to vocal ensembles like the ones you see in our gallery. The acoustics are treated to minimize echo, so the sound remains focused. This makes it an excellent choice for poetry recitals, unplugged music, or storytelling evenings where every word needs to carry.
Important Practicalities
We operate on a dry-hire model. We provide the space, the lights, and the PA system, but you manage your own soundcheck, setup, and cleanup. This keeps our rental rates accessible for independent creators. We recommend this space for audiences of up to 60 people who appreciate a private, immersive environment.
