About Music & Voice Classes
We focus on practical ensemble work here, not just traditional lectures. In our Vocal Circle sessions, you will not be standing in rows. We gather in an intimate setting to harmonize on everything from Raag Bahar to Vulfpeck songs, helping you build confidence through shared musical exploration rather than rigid auditioning.
At Lilanoor, we believe music is a language that thrives on connection. Our curriculum bridges the gap between Eastern and Western musical traditions, offering a space where you can study Hindustani classical techniques alongside modern songwriting or Western vocal theory.
Solo vs. Group Training
- Solo Classes: These 40-minute sessions are tailored to your specific goals, whether you are preparing for a performance or working on technical foundation. We schedule these based on mutual availability, offering the flexibility to work around your week.
- The Vocal Circle: This is our community heartbeat. It is not a formal choir but a collaborative lab. We meet weekly to explore sounds, experiment with harmony, and build group energy. You do not need to audition to join; we welcome singers of all levels.
The Space
Located in the heart of South Extension II, our studio is designed for comfort and acoustics. We use sound-absorbing panels to ensure clarity and provide instruments like tanpuras, tablas, and keyboards on-site. If you feel traditional music schools are often too sterile or intimidating, this is your alternative. It is a space to befriend sound rather than treat it as a difficult subject. Join us to find your voice in a supportive, non-hierarchical community.
Lilanoor
I started Lilanoor to be a home for artists, not just another music academy. We are a collective, so when you walk into our South Delhi space, you are not just a student. You are part of a community jamming, learning, and finding expression together.
