My Training Philosophy: Building True Strength and Guts
Fitness is about more than just muscle size. To truly transform, you need the 'gundige' (guts) to push past 'I can't'. Here is how I coach for real change.
The dedication of the late Appu sir is a constant inspiration. He never said "I can't do it." His willingness to tackle difficult gymnastics training is a testament to the power of a determined mindset.
This is the focus I bring to every session. My goal is to help you find your own intensity and drive to achieve your fitness goals.
My approach is straightforward and intense. We use every tool available to forge a stronger version of you. It's about embracing the hard work.
Even outside of a workout, the results of a disciplined lifestyle are clear. This is about building a body that is strong and capable in any setting.
A moment of focus in the gym. Before any lift, the right mindset is key. I am here to guide you not just physically, but mentally as well.
About My Training Philosophy
When you walk into my gym in Gottigere, do not expect a quick fix or a polished routine. We start by checking your mindset, not just your squat form. If you come in thinking 'nanna kaiyalli aagalla' (I can't do it), we address that first. My sessions are intense because that is the only way to build functional strength—whether you are here for hypertrophy or learning a somersault.
Beyond the Muscles
Fitness is a full-life commitment. It is not just about the one hour you spend in the gym; it is about the fire you carry with you throughout the day. My approach at Aerial Zone is built on the belief that a strong body is useless if the mind is not ready to work.
The 'Gundige' Mindset
I draw heavy inspiration from the late Appu sir (Puneeth Rajkumar). His mantra, 'en madistira nanu madtini' (Whatever you make me do, I will do it), is the standard I set for my students. This philosophy guides my training in three main ways:
- Mental Fortitude: We strip away the excuses first. If you say you cannot lift, we find the 'gundige' to prove you wrong.
- Functional Movement: I use gymnastics basics—like handstands and flips—not to make you a circus performer, but to build core control, balance, and real-world agility that weights alone cannot teach.
- Honest Results: No fads, no shortcuts, and no magic pills. We use compound lifts, plate-loaded machines, and high-volume hypertrophy work to build a physique that is as capable as it looks.
How We Train Together
Whether you are training for bodybuilding competitions or just want to get stronger, my programs are high-intensity. I provide constant cues to fix your form and prevent injury. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to guide you.
