A curated collection of my journey through oils, watercolors, and live sketches—from Delhi’s bustling streets to quiet memories captured on canvas.

This painting of the Varanasi ghats is very close to my heart. I find that the memories of my trip to this spiritual city never really leave me, and I try to pour that feeling into the colors and light on the paper. This is a 12x12 inch watercolor on Baohong cold press paper, created with Daniel Smith watercolors.

This is a portrait of Anamaya, a beautiful and poised model who sat for me for five and a half hours. Painting from life has its struggles, but capturing her strength and the delicate play of light and shadow was a deeply rewarding artistic experience. This is an oil on canvas portrait.

Remembering my solo trip to Pisa. I traveled there in the hot summer and was so fascinated by the city that I did several intensive sketches. This watercolor was created back in my studio from my memories and photos, capturing that warm Italian sun on the historic streets.

The beautiful Konkan coast, painted in watercolor on paper. It felt good to paint this after a long time, switching from my usual cityscapes to these lush, green landscapes. This piece was inspired by a picture and my love for the serene beauty of Konkan.

I feel so much peace whenever I sketch at Gurudwara Shree Bangla Sahib. This is one of my favorite spots in Delhi to capture with my sketchbook. This ink and watercolor piece was done on-site with the Urban Sketchers Delhi group.

I love to paint my memories, and this piece brings back the feeling of being in Verona, Italy. This was a really enjoyable cityscape to create, focusing on the vibrant colors and architectural details. It is an 8x10 inch oil on linen painting.

Here's a small glimpse into my process. This is a two day oil study of a corner of my kitchen. It was a bit of a struggle with the cotton canvas, but I really enjoyed the challenge of painting a familiar scene from my daily life.

I call this one 'Sacred Moments'. It's a small 5x7 inch still life study in oil, painted from life. I truly enjoyed this process, focusing on capturing the essence of the objects rather than just copying what I saw.

I was so happy and proud to see my work exhibited at the prestigious Fabriano in Acquarello festival in Italy. This photo was taken by a dear artist friend. The painting is a half imperial watercolor of Florence, created from a photo I took during my trip there.

About Featured

Every piece here starts with a real moment. Whether it's the five hours I spent painting a live portrait or a quick watercolor sketch at the Gurudwara, I focus on capturing the feeling of the place rather than just the visual. I use professional-grade Gamblin oils and Daniel Smith pigments on archival cotton paper, so you receive a piece that is crafted to last.
