A collection of my work across watercolours, oils, and acrylics, capturing the energy of Indian heritage and the warmth of personal family moments.

This painting of "Bal Ganesh" is very close to my heart, as the inspiration came from the playful moments of my younger son, Yuvraj. I created this watercolour piece live on Saam TV, blending my personal life with my spiritual art to celebrate the Ganesh festival.

This is a watercolour painting from my signature stone series, depicting "Mahishasur Mardini". I am deeply inspired by the ancient sculptures at places like Ellora, and with this series, I try to capture that timeless, carved-in-stone feeling on paper.

Here is a look at my process for creating a portrait from my "Sadhu" series. Using watercolours, I build layers to bring out the character and spirit of the subject, capturing a story in their expression.

I painted this landscape of the Pushkar ghat on location during a national artist camp. My goal with "en plein air" painting is to capture the raw atmosphere and mood of a place, from the light of the setting sun to the birds in the sky.

This piece, "Balraje," features my elder son and was created to celebrate our Maharashtrian heritage. Using acrylics, I focused on the intricate details of the traditional attire, connecting the younger generation to the legacy of our great heroes.

A commissioned watercolour painting celebrating the beautiful journey of motherhood. Creating custom portraits like this allows me to capture deeply personal and cherished moments for families, turning a memory into a timeless piece of art.

A self-portrait created as a live demonstration. This piece showcases my approach to watercolour portraits, focusing on capturing likeness and expression with fluid, confident brushstrokes.

About this collection

When you look through these paintings, you are seeing the result of how I blend technical skill with personal meaning. For every commission—whether it is a portrait of a loved one, a landscape, or a piece of conceptual heritage art—I do not just copy a reference photo. I spend time understanding the story or emotion behind your request so that the final canvas feels like a memory rather than just a drawing. If you are considering a custom piece, we start by discussing the mood and the specific energy you want to capture.

My artistic process is rooted in my upbringing and the landscapes of India. I work primarily in three mediums, each chosen to serve the specific narrative of the piece:

  • Watercolours: My signature medium. I use this for my 'Stone Series'—where I attempt to replicate the texture of ancient carvings from places like Ellora—as well as for expressive portraits where fluidity and light are essential.
  • Oils: My choice for rich, textured portraits and large-scale canvases where I want to build depth and longevity.
  • Acrylics: I turn to these for vibrant, punchy colours, particularly when working on conceptual pieces or detailed traditional attire.

My approach to 'en plein air' (painting outdoors) keeps my work honest. When I paint the ghats of Varanasi or the forts of Maharashtra, I am not just capturing the scenery; I am recording the atmosphere, the light, and the raw feeling of the location.

Custom Commissions

Whether you are looking for a tribute to a family member, a spiritual painting, or a large-scale conceptual artwork, my goal is the same: to create something you can truly connect with.

  • The Process: We begin with a consultation to finalize the emotion of the piece. For portraits, I work from high-quality references to ensure likeness and character.
  • Technical Quality: I use archival-grade materials, from 300 GSM cotton rag paper for watercolours to heavy-duty primed canvas for oils, ensuring your artwork remains a cherished part of your home for years to come.

I treat every project as a partnership. Let's create something that feels like you.
