Why I Paint

Art helps me catch those tiny, happy moments. Switching between oils and watercolors keeps things interesting, even though it’s tricky. Every painting I make is a bit of my story—sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s beautiful, always real.

What You’ll Find Here

I put my memories and feelings into every piece. You’ll see city scenes from my travels, quiet portraits from my studio, and quick sketches from busy Delhi streets. If you’re looking for hand-painted cityscapes or Indian artist paintings for sale, I’ve got plenty.

• Scenes of Florence, Verona, and Pisa from my Italy trips
• Sunlit afternoons and old lanes from Delhi and Varanasi, especially my series of the ghats (steps by the river)
• Lush Konkan coast landscapes, lots of green!

Portraits & People

Painting people live is a rush. Most portraits are done in one sitting, alla prima style, usually 3-5 hours. I love working with other artists too—there’s always something new to learn. Light and shadow on the face? That’s my jam.

Urban Sketches

Delhi’s crazy energy shows up in my sketches. You’ll catch glimpses of Chandni Chowk, the Famous Jalebi Wala, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. These pieces are quick, lively, and full of the city’s vibe.

My Process

I use Daniel Smith watercolors and Gamblin oils, and only top-quality paper and canvas. If contemporary watercolor art is what you’re after, you’ll find it here.

Recognition

My paintings have made it to Fabriano in Acquarello (Italy), IWS Olympiart, and shows at the Russian Centre in New Delhi. I’m grateful for every chance to share my work.
