About My Fitness Journey
If you think fitness is just about endless treadmill hours, look again. My own routine is a mix of heavy compound lifts like deadlifts and hip thrusts for strength, balanced with high-energy dance sessions. I keep things real: you need the heavy lifting to build the foundation, but you need the movement to keep the spirit alive. It’s about balance, not perfection.
I am not someone who believes in one-size-fits-all workout plans. My journey started with a simple rule: if it’s boring, I won’t do it. That is why you’ll see me pushing heavy weight in the gym one day and mastering Bhangra or Bollywood choreography the next. Strength training is the backbone of my routine. Exercises like deadlifts and tricep pushdowns give you that lean, athletic look, but more importantly, they protect your joints and keep you injury-free as you get stronger.
Mixing cardio and strength isn’t just for fun. It’s the secret to keeping your metabolism fired up and your joints healthy. Many people come to me saying they want to lose weight but are scared of the weights area. I tell them the same thing: start with what you can handle and grow from there. I’m always testing new movements, whether it’s functional training or just some serious stretching. You’ll see me focusing on my recovery too, because your body only grows when you give it time to rest.
