From designer handbags to custom sneakers, I sculpt cakes that look exactly like the real thing. It is edible art, engineered to wow your guests.

This realistic human bust is a fully edible sculpture made from chocolate. It was a challenging project that pushed my skills in sculpting and detailing to a new level.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a fabulous pair of shoes, or in this case, a shoe cake! This is a realistic, life-sized sneaker sculpted entirely from cake and fondant, sitting on its shoebox.

A cake for the fashion lover. I sculpted this cake to look like a Dior shopping bag, filled with red buttercream "tissue paper" and complete with a Dior tag.

For the makeup enthusiast, this cake is designed to look like a MAC makeup bag. It features a quilted black fondant finish and is topped with edible versions of MAC products like powder, blush, and brushes.

This pink mango cake is decorated with a variety of edible makeup items. It includes a fondant eyeshadow palette, lipstick, brushes, and compacts for a fun and glamorous birthday.

Another makeup-themed cake, this one was a delicious chocolate rum cake. The design features a pink quilted pattern and is topped with an edible eyeshadow palette, lipstick, and brushes.

A simple yet elegant take on the makeup theme. This cake is topped with a "Happy Birthday" topper and a few essential edible makeup items and a delicate pink sugar rose.

About this collection

Because these cakes are engineered to hold their shape, I use internal food-safe armatures and a dense chocolate ganache structure. This means the carving process takes significantly longer than standard cakes, which is why these are priced differently and require a bit more planning for your event.

When I take on a 3D sculpted cake, I am not just baking; I am essentially engineering. Whether you want a sneaker, a designer bag, or a portrait sculpture, I start by building a food-safe internal armature. This gives the cake its gravity-defying structure. Because of this, I only use dense cake bases like Mud Cake or Dutch Truffle, which can support the carving and the weight of the ganache coating.

The finishing details are where the real work happens. Using wafer paper, edible paints, and fondant textures, I try to mimic the material of the object you want me to recreate. It is definitely next level s#%! as I like to say, but seeing the reaction when someone realizes it is edible makes the long hours totally worth it.

Since these are custom-built, I need a bit more notice compared to my standard cream cakes. If you are planning a surprise or a special celebration, let us chat a week in advance so I can sketch out the design and ensure we get the structure just right.

I am Komal. Sculpting cakes has been my biggest challenge and my absolute favorite part of baking. I love the look on a client's face when they realize that handbag or sneaker is actually a cake I made from scratch.
