Whether it is a Cocomelon design or a specific jungle adventure, I make sure the internal structure is rock solid. I use internal doweling and dense, ganache-based sponges to ensure your cake survives the trip across Darjeeling's steep, winding roads, so it arrives at your venue looking perfect.
Bringing Characters to Life
I love seeing that sparkle in a child's eyes when they spot their favorite character on a cake. It drives everything I do in the kitchen. Whether it is Elsa from Frozen, a Peppa Pig scene, or a detailed BTS logo, I take my time to sculpt and hand-paint these details. I treat each cake as a canvas, using sugar paste and fondant to shape figures that kids actually recognize and love.
The Engineering Behind the Fun
These cakes are not just about looks. Because we are in Darjeeling, transport is a massive challenge. A beautiful 3D sculpted cake is useless if it topples on a hairpin bend. That is why I rely on structural engineering. I use food-safe internal rods and sturdy cake boards to make sure the center of gravity is low and stable. I also prefer denser, chocolate-heavy sponges for sculpted work, as they hold their shape better than light, fluffy sponges.
