About Taekwondo Classes for All Ages
What Training Feels Like Here
When you step into our dojang, you leave distractions at the door. We start every class with Charyeot (Attention!) and Gyeongnye (Bow!) - it's about respect, not just routine. I ask for your focus, your energy, and your effort every single time.
How Classes Run
We open with tough warm-ups and deep stretches. Expect wall handstands, push-ups, agility drills - I’ll push you, whether you’re a kid or an adult. We’re serious about building strength and flexibility before even thinking about those high kicks.
Technique is core. You'll pick up the Korean terms as you go. We drill stances, punches, kicks, and practice Poomsae (patterns) in groups. If you’re here for family-friendly martial arts, you’ll see everyone working together but at their own level.
Power comes next. Sparring (Kyorugi) is with full gear, always with safety first. You’ll face real opponents and learn board breaking - there’s nothing like the feeling when you hit your first clean break and let out a loud Kiap (shout).
Classes for All
- Kids Taekwondo lessons focus on basics and building discipline, but we keep it lively.
- Teens get a shot at advanced skills and competition prep.
- Adults join in for martial arts fitness, real self-defense, and to push their limits.
Earning Your Belt
Everyone starts with white. The belt progression system is strict - you move up only when you’re truly ready. Exams are tough and fair, overseen by experienced masters.
Our Dojang
We train indoors with safety mats, hanging bags, all the right gear, and flags of India and South Korea on the wall. Our dojang isn’t fancy, but it’s serious. Medals and trophies? My students earned every single one.
If you want the real Taekwondo experience, you’ll find it here.

My Story
We are Kim's Taekwondo Academy. Walk into our dojang and you’ll spot India and Korea flags - respect, always. Discipline is our thing, from tiny kids wobbling through their first kick to black belts sweating for medals. I see students start out shy, scared to jump, but day by day, with 'Kick hard, okay!' and 'Jump high!' they get stronger. The best part? Watching them stand tall, eyes full of confidence. That’s Taekwondo.
