Young students in full Kyorugi gear, including chest guards and helmets, practice their turning kicks (Dolyo Chagi). I correct their form and push them to kick stronger and with better control.

Our youngest students, wearing yellow belts and protective gear, learn the basics of sparring. I instruct them on proper stance and how to execute kicks to the torso area.

Students practice sparring drills in the dojang. This clip shows a variety of movements, including kicks and footwork, as they train with partners of similar skill levels.

About Sparring and Self-Defense (Kyorugi)

We do not just punch air here. We use full protective gear—chest guards, helmets, and shields—so you can practice high-impact Dolyo Chagi (turning kicks) and combinations with real force, safely. You will learn to block, counter, and move with control under pressure, because real confidence only comes when you are tested.
