Taekwondo Training Highlights and Techniques
From rigorous Poomsae patterns to full-contact sparring, this is how we build champions in Banaswadi.
We teach students to channel their power and execute advanced techniques like this flying side kick board break. This level of skill is achieved through dedicated practice and step by step instruction.
Perfecting a kick requires repetition and direct feedback. Here, I guide a student through a wall-supported kicking drill to build strength, balance, and proper form for a powerful side kick.
Board breaking, or Gyeokpa, is a test of a student's power and confidence. This blue belt demonstrates a knife-hand strike, successfully breaking a stack of twelve tiles during a belt examination.
Synchronized Poomsae, or patterns, are a core part of our training. This aerial view shows our students practicing their forms together during an outdoor session, demonstrating group discipline and precision.
Safety is our priority during sparring, or Kyorugi. Our youngest students learn kicking combinations and defensive movements while wearing full protective gear, including helmets and chest guards.
Flexibility is non-negotiable for high kicks and injury prevention. We incorporate deep stretching exercises like the full split into every training session to push our students' physical limits.
Our dojang is home to a strong community of students of all ages. This is a group photo from one of our belt examinations, celebrating the hard work and progress of every individual.
About this collection
You will not see shortcuts here. Everything you see, from the 12-tile Gyeokpa breaks to synchronized Poomsae, comes from hours of repetitive drilling on our safety mats. If you are ready to sweat, focus on your posture, and learn the real Kyorugi sparring rules, you are ready to train with us.
Training with Discipline
We do not run a hobby center. When you enter our dojang, you leave distractions at the door. Our training is built on a foundation of respect for the instructor and the sport. We start with Charyeot and Gyeongnye, and we maintain that focus through every stretch and strike.
Core Training Pillars
- Poomsae (Patterns): We drill stances, blocks, and strikes in groups to build muscle memory. This is not just about moving; it is about perfect execution and group synchronization.
- Kyorugi (Sparring): We use full protective gear. You will face opponents and learn how to manage distance, timing, and reaction speeds under pressure.
- Strength & Flexibility: We incorporate agility ladders, push-ups, and deep stretching in every session. You cannot execute high kicks without a strong core and flexible muscles.
Our Dojang Standards
We train on professional 25mm impact-absorbing floor mats in our Banaswadi facility. We provide the safety gear, but you provide the effort. Whether you are aiming for your next belt exam or just want to master the Dolyo chagi kick, we require full commitment. We keep groups focused, correcting your form until you get it right. If you want a casual workout, look elsewhere. If you want to learn Taekwondo the proper way, start here.
