About Taekwondo Training
My Approach
Taekwondo has been my world for more than four decades. For me, it’s way more than just fighting - it’s about shaping your character, building health, and finding your own strength. Students call me Maa lee, and honestly, the best part is watching someone discover confidence they didn’t know they had.
What You Can Expect
I teach World Taekwondo style, straight from Kukkiwon standards, so every skill and certification you earn holds up anywhere. Sure, you’ll pick up self-defense moves, but the main thing is growing stronger inside and out. The belt system gives you clear milestones, and every Taekwondo belt exam is a chance to celebrate how far you’ve come.
Who Can Join
Kids, adults, seniors – anyone can start. Youngsters get a space to burn off energy and learn discipline. For grown-ups, it’s about fitness, mental clarity, and sometimes just starting fresh. No fancy requirements, just show up.
Training Vibe
Classes happen in groups, on safe floor mats. Everyone wears the dobok, keeps the vibe respectful. You’ll learn from me and your fellow students, and we keep things supportive. Sometimes it’s tough, sometimes it’s fun, but it’s always real.

My Story
We’re the Institute of Wellness and Martial Arts, but folks call me Maa lee sometimes, thanks to my students. Been at this for 45 years, teaching martial arts is more than a job - it’s my heartbeat. Watching kids like Advaith kick high and seeing seniors stretch for the first time, that’s what keeps me going. Every small win, every new belt, it’s a celebration. This place is for anyone wanting to build strength, health, and some real confidence.
