Why I Do This

Food is home for me. I started Khawar Ashe Pashe because I missed the real taste of Kolkata here in Bangalore. Every dish I make is about bringing that feeling back - the smell of biryani at a family get-together, the taste of kosha mangsho on a festival day, or just the comfort of alu posto with rice.

The Menu

• Signature Kolkata biryani (mutton/chicken), kosha mangsho, chicken chaap, chicken rezala - all cooked just like back home
• Bengali fish dishes: Sorse Ilish, Chingri Malai Curry
• Proper Niramish vegetarian options (no onion/garlic) if you want, plus alu posto, veg malai kofta, paneer
• Kolkata Chinese starters: chilli chicken, chilli paneer, drums of heaven, momos

For Any Size Event

I do everything from small house parties to big weddings and corporate events. Sometimes, the crowd wants only biryani and kosha mangsho, sometimes a full traditional festival menu. I’m happy to customise, but I’ll be honest - if you want something outside Bengali or Kolkata-style buffet service, I might not be the best fit.
