A peek into the joy and creativity happening every weekend at our studio. From vibrant oil pastels to hands-on clay sculptures, see what our amazing students have created.

Look at this super realistic hotdog made with oil pastels. I am so proud of my student for creating this delicious-looking artwork, showing amazing attention to detail and coloring skills.

These kids make every weekend so full of joy and happiness. This is what our classroom looks like, full of proud faces and colourful creations. We love seeing our students so happy with their art.

Our senior students are exploring architectural design and the results are just wow. This detailed pen artwork of a modern house shows the amazing progress they make in our advanced classes.

Getting our hands messy with clay is one of our favourite things to do. From colourful flowers to little animals, these clay models show the wonderful imagination of my students.

Learning isn't just in the classroom. Here I am with some of my happy students on a trip to the Chitra Santhe art fair. We love finding inspiration everywhere we go.

So proud of this student for winning first prize in the Swachh Bharat art competition. It is a joy to see our students getting recognized for their hard work and creativity.

I love seeing how my students use bright colours to create beautiful landscape paintings. This collage shows a variety of boat and sunset scenes, all made with oil pastels and lots of imagination.

We learn important skills like pencil sketching and shading with still life studies. Look at the amazing detail and control my students have while drawing these teapots and kettles.

About Featured

What you see here is the result of keeping our batches small, with only 8 to 12 students. This means I get to help every child find their own style rather than just following a template. Whether it is a student's first attempt at shading a teapot or a competition-winning landscape, we make sure every piece reflects the unique personality of the child who created it.

How We Make Art Fun

At KD School of Arts, we believe art should be about happiness and self-expression. We avoid strict, rigid rules. Instead, we encourage kids to get messy, experiment, and enjoy the process. Whether your child is a beginner learning to draw basic shapes or a senior student exploring advanced architectural sketching, our goal is to build confidence alongside technical skills.

What Our Students Are Creating

Our weekend art classes in BTM Layout and Bannerghatta Road cover a huge range of mediums:

  • Drawing & Sketching: From simple doodles and Zentangle to detailed still-life studies and realistic charcoal portraits.
  • Oil Pastels: Our students love the bright colors and blending techniques used for landscapes and food art.
  • Clay Modelling: A favorite for younger ones, turning imagination into 3D figurines, animals, and decorative tiles.
  • Thematic Projects: We keep things fresh by tying our art to festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi or celebrating events like the Chandrayaan mission.

We don't just stay in the classroom. We take our students on outdoor painting adventures to local parks and art fairs like Chitra Santhe to see art in the real world. We are also proud to support our students in national art competitions, helping them turn their creative passion into achievements. If you are looking for a weekend space where your child can learn everything from graphite basics to complex watercolor wash techniques in a supportive environment, we would love to have them join our gang.

I started this place to share the happiness I find in painting. I love watching our students grow, from the little ones learning to hold a pencil to the older ones tackling complex architectural drawings. We don't just teach techniques; we create a space where everyone laughs, celebrates, and learns to express themselves freely.
