A glimpse into the vibrant energy and creative spark from our weekend art batches in BTM Layout.

This is my 'Master Stroke' adult batch, and I'm so proud of them! We have a lot of fun learning pencil shading techniques together in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.

Here’s a little peek at a live watercolor demonstration I did for my adult students. I love showing the process step by step, from the first wash of color to the final details on this architectural painting.

It's amazing to see my students master different styles. Here, one of our talented artists is showing her progress in both realistic pencil sketching and vibrant watercolor painting.

Look at the beautiful results from our pen art and Zentangle sessions. My adult students created these intricate pieces, combining detailed line work with creative watercolor washes.

This is an example of what you can create with oil pastels. I guide my students on how to blend colors and create atmosphere, like in this painting of a rainy evening walk.

We have so much fun with themed projects, like these Harry Potter portraits. This collage shows a mix of my students, all learning the fundamentals of face sketching and shading.

I am always impressed by the work from my creative students. This is a fantastic still life watercolor painting, showing a great understanding of light, reflection, and color blending.

From a simple pen outline to a lively character. This video shows the pen and wash technique I teach, which is a fun way to bring your sketches to life with a splash of watercolor.

About Featured

We run our adult 'Master Stroke' batches with a relaxed, no-judgment vibe where you can sit on the floor and just create. You do not need prior experience, just a bit of curiosity to start exploring pencil shading, watercolor landscapes, or meditative pen art with our small, friendly group.

Our Approach

Art should feel like play, not pressure. Whether you walk in thinking you cannot even draw a straight line or you are looking to refine your technique, my studio is a space to rediscover your creative side. We focus on the joy of the process rather than just the final product.

What We Cover

My weekend hobby batches are designed for adults who want a creative escape. We keep our groups small, usually between 4 to 8 students, so I can provide personal attention to everyone. Depending on the month, we dive into different mediums:

  • Pencil Sketching: We start with the basics of light, shadow, and shading to bring still life and portraits to life.
  • Watercolor: This is my personal favorite. We cover everything from wet-on-wet techniques to detailed architectural scenes, often with live demonstrations.
  • Pen Art & Zentangle: For those who enjoy intricate patterns, these sessions are almost meditative and great for stress relief.

Studio Environment

Located in BTM Layout, my studio is more of an adda (casual hangout) than a formal classroom. We often work sitting on the floor on mats, which keeps the mood light and comfortable. We follow a 'Bring Your Own Material' (BYOM) model, and I will guide you with a specific recommendation list before you start. Whether you join for the 4-session hobby batch or the 8-session intensive program, the goal is always the same—to have a blast while learning something new. Come join our gang of artists and celebrate your wins with us.
