Join Our Creative Art Adda
My art workshops are my favourite kind of adda. Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or have been sketching for years, come join us to slow down, find your flow, and create something real together.
A glimpse into my first-ever curated collage workshop in Boston! It was amazing to see everyone get hands-on, cutting and pasting to create their own unique city skylines. This is the kind of fun, creative energy I love to foster.
The whole gang from our sketch walk in Aarey forest. Moments like these, where we all come together to share our work and experiences, are what make our art community so special.
Another wonderful group of sketchers from a session with Suburban Sketchers Mumbai. Look at all the different styles and interpretations of the same location. That's the beauty of a community adda.
This is what on-location sketching looks like. We find a spot, get comfortable on our little stools, and immerse ourselves in the environment, capturing the world around us together.
Me in my element, completely absorbed in painting during a sketch walk at Mindspace Garden. This is my happy place, sitting outdoors and bringing a scene to life with my brush.
A candid shot of me and another artist sketching side-by-side. My workshops are very collaborative, and we often learn just as much from each other as we do from the scenery.
A proud moment holding up my two watercolor paintings from our Aarey forest sketch walk. It’s so rewarding to spend a day in nature and come away with tangible memories.
A candid photo of me sketching outside Metro Cinema. You can see my portable setup: a simple stool, my sketchbook, and my art supplies, ready to capture any moment.
Another angle from the Metro Cinema sketch meet, showing other artists also focused on their work. There's a quiet, shared energy when we're all sketching together.
Sharing my finished sketch with the vegetable vendor who inspired it. This connection is one of the most rewarding parts of urban sketching, turning strangers into part of your art story.
About Join Our Creative Adda
I don’t lecture. My sessions are about learning by doing, grabbing our sketchbooks, and soaking in the vibe of our city. Whether it’s a quiet corner in Aarey Forest or a busy cafe in the suburbs, we focus on the joy of making, not the pressure of perfection.
My workshops are built for people who want to reconnect with their creative side without the stress of rigid rules. I keep things simple. We break down complex scenes into basic shapes, play with light and shadow, and learn through observation. No jargon, just practice.
Workshop Styles
-
Outdoor Urban Sketch Walks: We pick spots like Ranwar Village or Dadar Market. We walk, we look, and we capture Mumbai's soul on paper. These sessions are about perspective and framing. You learn to see the beauty in a humble corner shop or an old building. We cap these groups at 12 people to ensure I can give everyone individual feedback.
-
Indoor Art Workshops: These are my creative adda sessions. We do themed art, from vintage cafe facades to botanical studies. Everything is provided, from high-quality 300 GSM paper to artist-grade watercolors and fineliners. You just bring yourself.
-
1-on-1 Mentorship: If you want a deeper dive, I offer private sessions online or in-person. We look at color theory, value studies, and how to build a daily sketching habit that sticks. Whether you want to master watercolor washes or just need help with your composition, I tailor the syllabus to your goals.
My Philosophy
Art is a blessing, and my goal is to make it accessible to everyone. If you have been hesitant to start, or if you feel like you cannot draw, you are exactly who I want to meet. Let’s sit, sketch, and share stories. It is less about the final product and more about the memories we create on the page.
