Rescue and Recovery: Our Impact Stories

Every rescue we undertake tells a story of survival. From the harsh reality of street life to the hope of a second chance, these moments capture our daily battle against cruelty and neglect in Delhi NCR.

This is the story of Rana, an abandoned pitbull. His owners threw him in a jungle area to die, and he was just a skeleton when a kind person found him and posted for help. We immediately picked him up and with medical care and nutrition at our partner boarding, love healed him. Stories like his give us the strength to save more lives.

When the Delhi floods hit, we didn't wait. This is what natural disaster animal rescue looks like on the ground. We were out with boats, wading through water to pull stranded and scared dogs to safety. Every single life is precious to us.

This is the harsh reality we face. This dog was found in the busy Kalkaji market, his leg broken and eaten by maggots, with thousands of people just walking by. We picked him up and rushed him to medical boarding for immediate treatment. We never look away from such difficult cases.

Meet Floppy. She survived a railway accident that mangled her leg, but she never lost her spirit. After we rescued her, she recovered into this playful, happy girl. Now she needs a forever home, or she will have to go back to the platform. She is a true survivor looking for a family.

This is how your support directly translates into action. Our animal ambulance doubles as a food truck, and these dogs know its sound. Every contribution to our community kitchen helps us feed hundreds of animals on the streets, day in and day out.

This is what happens when you buy from a breeder. This female German Shepherd was used for breeding and then discarded, tied to a flyover with a deep maggot wound on her back. We rescued her and got her admitted for treatment. Please choose adoption, don't support this cruelty.

Happy releases are the happiest videos we have. This is the goal for so many of our rescues. After weeks or months of treatment, taking a healthy dog back to their territory where they are loved and cared for is the best feeling in the world.

Our work is strengthened by incredible partners. Here, vets from Project DOBRO are performing life saving surgeries and consultations at our boarding facility. These collaborations allow us to provide specialized medical care like tumor removals and hernia operations.

About Featured

We operate one rescue at a time. When we receive a call about an injured dog, our focus is on stabilization first—getting them off the street, into our air-conditioned ambulance, and to a vet for immediate blood work and X-rays. If you are reporting a case, please know that we prioritize based on medical severity and current ambulance capacity to ensure every animal gets the attention they need.

‘Awaara nahi, hamara hai’ is the core of our movement. This collection brings together the reality of our work: the heartbreaking rescues from flyovers, the relief of flood-stranded animals, and the slow, steady recovery of those who were once abandoned. It is not just about saving lives; it is about holding society accountable. We deal with the aftermath of breeder dumping, hit-and-run accidents, and the daily grind of survival for street dogs. We do not relocate healthy animals, but we fight for those who are suffering. Our partners at clinics and boarding facilities allow us to offer complex surgical care and long-term rehabilitation. Every video and photo here is evidence of our commitment and a call to action. If you see a dog in distress, do not walk past. Reach out. Support our mission, whether through volunteering or donations, because this movement depends entirely on people like you.
