Rescued Pet Recovery and Medical Foster Care
Helping broken, scared animals find their way back to health and trust is my life's work. See how love and patience can change their world.
This brave mother dog was rescued right after losing her leg and gave birth just days later. This video shows her journey with me, from her initial recovery to nursing her six tiny puppies in a safe, warm environment.
Chidiya's journey is a tough one. He came to me paralyzed after a dog attack, as the X-ray confirmed a spinal fracture. We are managing his condition with medical support, helping him eat and stay clean, and showing him he is loved no matter what.
When Bholu first came to me, he was covered in painful wounds. This video shows his amazing transformation, from a wounded stray to a happy, trusting cat who loves belly rubs and sleeping on my lap. It took months of care, but his healing journey shows what love can do.
This little white Persian cat was so scared and timid when she first arrived for boarding. With a little patience and gentle handling, she slowly started to trust me. Now, she loves to be petted and feels completely at home.
Zoey’s story is about finding her way back to safety. After being passed around, she returned to us, and we welcomed her with open arms and a traditional aarti. It is so important for rescued animals to have stability and feel secure.
About From Rescue to Recovery
Managing a recovery case is rarely just about food and shelter. Many of the babies who come to me need specialized attention like daily wound dressing, physical therapy for paralyzed limbs, or bottle feeding for tiny orphans. It is a full-time commitment that I handle right here in my home, ensuring they get 24/7 observation, warmth, and the safety they were denied earlier.
When an animal arrives in a 'bahut buri condition' (very bad state), the first step is always stabilization. Unlike a clinic where they are isolated in a cage, I bring them into my home. My approach focuses on 'ghar ka khaana' (home-cooked food) and constant human touch. For instance, with Chidiya, the kitten with a spinal fracture, it is not just about medical diagnostics; it is about manual care, helping him stay clean, and monitoring his comfort around the clock.
I also handle cases like the mother dog who lost her leg on the railway tracks. She needed post-operative care while being a new mother to six pups. My home-based nursing involves everything from wound dressing to thermal care with blankets and heaters. This is not a shelter. There are no cages. They roam free because I have found that their emotional recovery is just as fast as their physical healing when they feel like part of a family.
If you are looking to support a case, your sponsorship covers the essential logistics: transport, bloodwork, viral testing, and the antibiotics required for recovery. For those looking to adopt, I ensure every animal is vaccinated, sterilized, and socialized before they go to a forever home. Whether you need to discuss an emergency rescue or want to adopt an indie pet, send me a message. Let's give them the second chance they deserve.
