Yoga is a sacred transmission of knowledge. Explore the principles passed down through the parampara of B.K.S. Iyengar, Geetaji, and Prashantji.

A treasured photograph of my gurus: B.K.S. Iyengar with his daughter, Dr. Geeta S. Iyengar, and son, Prashant S. Iyengar. Their collective wisdom and dedication have illuminated the path of yoga for millions around the world.

About The Lineage: My Gurus & Philosophy

My practice is built on the foundation of the guru-shishya parampara, a living thread that ensures every alignment cue and philosophical insight remains true to the source. When you join a session, you are not just learning an asana, you are connecting to a method that has been refined over decades to cultivate both physical precision and mental clarity.

In a world where yoga is often reduced to fitness routines, staying connected to the source is vital. My teaching is a direct reflection of the guidance I received from B.K.S. Iyengar, Dr. Geeta S. Iyengar, and Prashant S. Iyengar. This is the essence of parampara—the sacred transfer of knowledge from teacher to student that prevents the practice from losing its depth or becoming merely physical.

I approach every workshop as a vessel for these teachings. Whether we are exploring the precision of a standing pose or the therapeutic application of restorative sequences, the goal is to deepen your understanding of how the body and mind connect. By honoring the Iyengar method’s reliance on props and alignment, we ensure that the practice remains accessible while staying rigorous. You are not just here to stretch, you are here to learn the intelligence behind the asana, just as I continue to learn from my gurus. This is an invitation to move beyond the surface and explore the philosophy that breathes life into the posture.
