Back to the roots. Here our team prepares a traditional 'Garadi Mane' mud pit. Training in the mud is an old-school method for developing immense lower body strength and balance, a core component of our Kabaddi coaching philosophy.

The real advantage in our kabaddi training starts right here in the Garadi Mane. By training on this traditional red soil, we don't just build explosive leg power for raids; we significantly reduce the joint impact you would otherwise experience on hard concrete, keeping you match-fit and ready for the long season ahead.

Building the Complete Athlete

At the Indian Athletic Academy, we don't believe in taking shortcuts. You aren't here for a generic workout. You are here to dominate your sport, and that requires a specific blend of traditional wisdom and modern sports science. We divide our championship programs into two distinct paths: traditional power and modern tactical precision.

Kabaddi: The Mud and the Mat

We respect the roots of the sport. Our indoor sand pit at the Kumaraswamy Layout facility is where the real work happens. Practicing in the Garadi Mane allows for:

  • Raw Power: Developing explosive raiding strength without the wear and tear on your knees and ankles.
  • Mat Adaptation: We don't just stick to the mud. Our coaches transition you to mat drills, ensuring your footwork for skills like the 'dubki' or 'toe touch' remains sharp on standard tournament surfaces.

Flag Football: Precision and Speed

Flag football is serious business. We train you for the real deal—national and international competition levels. Our approach focuses on:

  • Strategic Depth: Learning the full route tree, from slants to fly patterns, and mastering defensive zone coverage.
  • Track-Based Conditioning: We use the synthetic track at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium in Jayanagar to build the acceleration and top-end speed needed for those long plays.

Why the Tribe Matters

This is a high-intensity environment. You will be training alongside 15 to 20 other athletes who are just as hungry as you are. It’s sweaty, it’s loud, and it’s real. We push you to fail, analyze what went wrong, and come back to fail better until you finally win. If you have the fire, we provide the tools to turn that potential into performance.
