About this collection

It is not just about the race day finish line; it is about the thousands of hours leading up to it. Whether it is our U10 athletes learning proper hurdle mechanics at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium or our U18 sprinters working through high-volume interval sessions, we focus on the boring fundamentals first. We demand consistency in foot strike efficiency and core stability, treating every training session as a building block for their long-term growth.

Training the Next Generation

At Indian Athletic Academy, we do not believe in shortcuts. Athletics coaching for kids requires a balance between building raw capability and keeping the environment engaging. We work with children and teenagers from U10 to U18, preparing them for everything from school-level competitions to state-level track and field events.

The 'Slog' Philosophy

Our training structure is built on the belief that real progress happens in the off-season. While the medals are great, they are just the result of the daily grind. We emphasize:

  • Foundational Movement: Correcting posture, arm action, and landing mechanics early on to prevent injuries.
  • Volume and Stamina: Controlled, high-volume running and sprint training that builds the engine required for 100m, 200m, 400m, and distance events.
  • Mental Grit: Teaching young athletes to push through the exhaustion barrier. We teach them that failing is just a part of the process, and that getting back up is where the real athlete is formed.

Where We Train

Our youth programs are conducted at the Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium in Jayanagar. Training on an outdoor synthetic track allows our athletes to get accustomed to professional race surfaces. We operate in morning and evening batches, ensuring that young students can balance their schooling with their training schedule without burnout.

Competition Ready

We do not just train; we prepare for the state circuit. Our coaches, including Roshan, Kishon, and the rest of the team, track each athlete's performance metrics. We want our champs to walk onto the track confident in their drills, their strength, and their preparation. If your child has the fire to compete and the discipline to commit to the routine, we are ready to build them into the athlete they want to become.
