Personalized Pilates Coaching & Form Correction
Getting the movement right matters more than doing it fast. Here is how I coach form and technique to fix pain and build your strength safely.
Trust is a key part of the recovery process. Here, I am providing direct support to a client as she works on an advanced inversion on the Cadillac. My one on one coaching ensures you can safely push your boundaries and build confidence.
Posture correction is a fundamental part of my approach. In this clip, my clients are using the Reformer and a Pilates stick to improve their alignment and spinal stability. These targeted exercises are excellent for managing back pain and retraining muscle memory.
About Personalized Coaching & Form Correction
You won't find cookie-cutter routines here. In my studio, we start with a clinical assessment of your range of motion and postural alignment before even touching the Reformer. Whether we are using tactile cueing to fix a shoulder imbalance or adjusting spring tension on the Cadillac for spinal decompression, every single rep is modified based on your pain levels and daily progress.
Why Form Matters
Many people jump into fitness wanting results yesterday, but skipping the basics is how injuries happen. My approach at Stretch Pilates & Wellness in Benson Town is different. Because I am a physiotherapist, I look at your body as a system that needs specific calibration. If you have been told you have 'bad posture' or are dealing with nagging joint pain, we start by retraining your movement patterns.
The Clinical Approach
We don't guess. We test. Every new client goes through a mandatory clinical assessment. I review your medical history, check your spinal alignment, and run dynamic movement screens to identify exactly where your body is restricted. This isn't just about exercises; it's about building a recovery roadmap that actually works.
How We Train
- Physio-Led Coaching: You get my undivided attention. I use tactile cueing to correct your form in real-time, ensuring you engage the right muscles without straining injured sites.
- Specialized Equipment: We use the Cadillac for spinal mobility and the Reformer for low-impact stability. These tools aren't just for building muscle; they are for creating controlled resistance that protects your joints.
- Customized Progress: Some days are easy, some are frustrating. I modify your routine based on how you feel that day. It is about consistent, slow progress rather than a quick fix.
Whether you are an athlete looking to prevent injury or someone simply trying to move pain-free, my goal is to teach you how to listen to your body and build strength that lasts.
