The Reformer is a cornerstone of my practice, using spring resistance to build long, lean muscles and improve stability. Whether you are recovering from an injury or just want to move better, this is your space to get strong.

Progress, not perfection, is the goal. This sequence on the Reformer demonstrates a full body workout, from lunges that target the glutes to upper body exercises that improve posture. Each movement is controlled and purposeful.

Feel the burn. This client is performing a series of exercises on the Reformer to strengthen her back and shoulders. These movements are fantastic for correcting postural issues caused by sitting at a desk and for building a strong, supportive upper body.

For many of my clients, Pilates is a form of therapy. This video captures the fluid, focused movements on the Reformer that help connect the mind and body. You can see a combination of strength work with the magic circle and flexibility training.

This is how we build a rock solid core. My client is performing plank variations on the moving carriage of the Reformer, which adds an extra challenge to stability. This is a powerful exercise for strengthening the entire torso.

About Reformer Workouts for All Levels

It is not just about pulling straps; it is about biomechanics. In my sessions, I use tactile cueing to fix your posture while you are on the carriage. If you have been struggling with recurring back pain or just want to know if a Reformer class is safe for your specific injury, we start with a clinical assessment to see exactly how your body moves.
