Physio-Led Pilates for Strength & Recovery
Think Pilates is just about counting reps? Let’s change that. I’m a physiotherapist, and my sessions are about understanding your body’s unique mechanics to help you move stronger and pain-free.
This is what a one-on-one session looks like. I'm here to provide hands-on support, ensuring your form is perfect and you feel safe as you push your limits and achieve movements you never thought possible.
Getting trained by a physiotherapist means every movement is chosen with your body's health in mind. Here, I'm guiding my client through a reformer exercise, focusing on building strength while protecting her joints and ensuring proper alignment.
The Cadillac is one of my favorite pieces of equipment for a reason. It challenges the entire body, as you can see in this inversion that requires immense core control, shoulder stability, and flexibility.
We are a community of people dedicated to moving better and feeling stronger. This is a glimpse into one of our group reformer classes, where everyone works at their own pace in a supportive and energetic environment.
You don't always need equipment for an effective Pilates workout. This mat-based ab series focuses on deep core engagement and stability, using slow, controlled movements and precise breathing to build strength from the inside out.
My journey to becoming a physiotherapist was driven by a passion for helping people heal through movement. This qualification is the foundation of my teaching, ensuring every session is not just a workout, but a step towards better health.
Seeing my clients progress is the best part of my job. This video shows the incredible improvement in back extension and shoulder mobility on the reformer, a testament to her dedication and the power of consistent, mindful practice.
About this collection
When you walk into the studio, forget what you’ve seen on Instagram. This isn't about looking a certain way; it’s about what your body actually needs. I’ve seen enough back pain from desk jobs and old sports injuries to know that 'one size fits all' never works. Whether you're on the Reformer or the Cadillac, we aren't just checking off reps. We are doing real-time, hands-on adjustments to your posture and movement. I'll be right there, making sure you’re firing the right muscles, not just compensating with the wrong ones.
Why Physio-led Pilates Matters
Most people reach out because they are tired of nagging back pain, sciatica, or just feeling 'stiff' after hours at a desk. My nine years as a physiotherapist taught me that the solution isn't more intensity; it's smarter movement.
At my HSR Layout studio, we strip away the guesswork. We start with a clinical assessment—checking your range of motion and spinal alignment—before we even touch a spring. From there, we move to the Reformer or Cadillac, using the resistance and support of the equipment to isolate muscles you’ve likely been neglecting.
My Approach to Movement
My approach is simple: quality over quantity. If you want to do 50 reps quickly, this isn't the place. But if you want to understand how to hold your core, why your shoulder blade is stiff, and how to move without that familiar ache, then let's get to work. Whether you are a total beginner or recovering from an injury, we tailor every flow to your reality. You’ll leave feeling not just tired, but aligned, mobile, and actually understanding your own body better. It’s clinical, it’s personal, and it’s effective.
Sara Najafi
I’m Sara. I moved here from Iran, fell in love with India, and haven't looked back since. When I'm not on the reformer with a client, I'm usually out on my motorcycle chasing sunsets or chilling with my cat. I believe fitness shouldn't feel like a chore; it’s just about being kind to your body and finding that mind-muscle connection.
