About Advanced Asanas & Transitions

People often ask how to reach advanced stages without injury. The secret isn't more effort, it's smarter use of props. Whether it is using the Kurunta rope wall to open your thoracic spine or blocks to stabilize your handstand, these tools remove the barrier of fear. My role is to guide you through these mechanics so you can stop straining and start moving with control.

When you approach an advanced posture, your body often reacts with tension or fear. That is natural. In my classes, we dismantle that tension systematically. Using the Kurunta wall, we find the exact alignment points needed for inversions like Sirsasana or transitions like the switch from Halasana to Chakrasana. This is not about pushing your body until it breaks. It is about understanding the mechanics of your own structure.

In Rajarajeshwari Nagar, my studio is equipped with the necessary tools—ropes, blocks, and chairs—to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I teach you to use the wall not as a crutch, but as a teacher that tells you if your spine is straight or your hip is tilted. We focus on the 'why' and the 'how' of every transition. This is Hatha Yoga as it was meant to be practiced: steady, purposeful, and profoundly safe. If you have been stuck at a plateau or fear injury in advanced work, bring your practice here. We will unblock the physical and mental barriers together.
