About

I grew up in Varanasi, but Mumbai is where I push boundaries with my music. My world is a mix: deep Indian classical roots, but also a love for fusion and plugging in my electric zitar for something new.

What My Lessons Offer

• You pick: stick to the timeless acoustic sitar or dive into the modern electric zitar.
• If you vibe with Indian classical sitar training, we’ll build up from scratch: solid basics, exploring famous Raags, and getting into all those subtle playing tricks.
• More into mixing things up? I can show you how to jam with bands, play Bollywood songs on sitar (think 'Laal Ishq' and more), and really get creative with the electric zitar fusion classes.

How I Teach

• I keep it real and personal. Music is about connection, so kya baat hai, we’ll work together to find your sound.
• Beginners, intermediates, or those already deep into music - everyone’s welcome. We go at your pace.
• Lessons are mostly online, so you just need your sitar (or zitar) and some 'josh' (enthusiasm).

Why Learn With Me

• PhD in music, but I’m not stuck in textbooks - I’ve toured abroad, played with big names, and even worked on shows like 'Bandish Bandits'.
