- Hosted via the Institute's platform (Zoom/Meet).
- 75 minutes total duration per week.
- Baithak style format: Includes 10 to 15 minutes of direct personal monitoring per student, with the rest spent on guided group practice.
Curriculum & Certification
- Follows a structured academic approach from Foundation Level to Level 6.
- Focuses strictly on Pure Classical (Raags, Alap, Jod, Jhala).
- Includes standardized notation sheets (Sargam) and practice audio tracks.
- Course completion certificate provided upon clearing specific levels.

About Sitar & Zitar Lessons
I grew up in Varanasi, but Mumbai is where I push boundaries with my music. My world is a mix: deep Indian classical roots, but also a love for fusion and plugging in my electric zitar for something new.
What My Lessons Offer
- You pick: stick to the timeless acoustic sitar or dive into the modern electric zitar.
- If you vibe with Indian classical sitar training, we’ll build up from scratch: solid basics, exploring famous Raags, and getting into all those subtle playing tricks.
- More into mixing things up? I can show you how to jam with bands, play Bollywood songs on sitar (think 'Laal Ishq' and more), and really get creative with the electric zitar fusion classes.
How I Teach
- I keep it real and personal. Music is about connection, so kya baat hai, we’ll work together to find your sound.
- Beginners, intermediates, or those already deep into music - everyone’s welcome. We go at your pace.
- Lessons are mostly online, so you just need your sitar (or zitar) and some 'josh' (enthusiasm).

My Story
Hey, I’m Hardik. Born and raised in Varanasi, so my sitar kinda carries that city’s soul. Did my PhD in Music from BHU, got deep into raags and all that jazz. Mumbai’s pace made my music evolve - one day I’m with Raag Kedar, next day I’m plugging in my Zitar for some Bollywood madness. Played everywhere – US, Dubai, Singapore, even jammed with Kapil Sharma ji. Music’s my thing, whether it’s meditative or full-on rock spirit.
