About Find Me at the Market
Seeing you hold a vase or run your fingers over a trinket bowl at a market is what makes the long hours of studio work worth it. I love these pop-ups because I get to hear the stories you connect with, and sometimes, even share a laugh with a cheeky monkey if we are at the right venue. It is just so much better than sending a parcel through a screen.
Digital screens can only show you so much. My pottery is meant to be held—the weight of a hand-thrown bowl, the slight unevenness of a rim, and the specific glaze texture that catches the light differently in person. When I set up my stall at places like the Merry Makers Market in Aya Nagar or Clay Fest in Chandigarh, it is not just about sales. It is about that moment when a piece finally finds its new home.
Why should you visit me at a market?
- Touch and Feel: You get to experience the full range, from my 'Houses on Cliff' series to the whimsical trinket bowls with their little animal friends.
- Exclusive Finds: I often bring pieces that do not make it to the website, like experimental batches that were too unique to be replicated.
- Real-time Conversations: It is the best way to chat about custom commissions. If you have an idea for a ceramic piece for your home, we can sketch it out right there on the spot.
My studio pottery pop-ups are where I get to see the joy these pieces bring to you, and honestly, it keeps me going through the messy, frustrating days of recycling clay. Whether you are looking for a unique gift or just want to see how these ceramic art pieces look up close, come by my next exhibition. It is a slow, messy, and beautiful process, and I would love to share it with you.
