Pro-Level BJJ and MMA Coaching by Gaurav
Real fighting isn't about flashy moves. It's about fundamentals, positional control, and building strength that actually works on the mat.
This is what we train for. Securing a win via Kimura in the ADCC India Open semi-finals. Technique and pressure win fights.
UFC fighter Anshul Jubli calls me the gym's gorilla for a reason. I've been handling his strength and Jiu-Jitsu training for a long time because he knows I bring real knowledge and intensity to the mat.
A single leg takedown attempt is a common attack. I teach you how to not just defend it, but turn it into a dominant side control or a key lock submission. It's about being two steps ahead.
It starts early. Here I am teaching my son the fundamentals of control with a rear-naked choke setup. This is how we build discipline and confidence, right at home.
Proud to have earned a silver medal at the ADCC South Asian Championship after a tough fight with a BJJ black belt veteran. I practice what I preach and test my skills at the highest levels.
In the Gi, the possibilities for chokes are endless. Here's a look at a simple but very effective loop choke variation we drill in class.
Listen to eight-time national champion Tarun Yadav. I was one of his first coaches, and for nearly a decade, I've pushed him in both his Jiu-Jitsu and strength training.
The moment before the cage door closes. This was back in 2016, a fight I finished in the first round with a rear-naked choke.

Leaving your ego at the door is the first rule. In my sessions, you will tap out, and that is exactly how we find the holes in your game. We do not drill complex, useless moves that look good on camera but fail when an opponent is actively trying to choke you out. Whether we are training in your living room or on the mats at my club, every minute is spent on fundamental positional control and high-percentage submissions that actually win fights.
A lot of people join BJJ classes expecting to learn flying armbars on day one. Stop. We build you from the ground up. I teach the same technical systems that helped me secure a silver medal at the ADCC South Asian Championship and that I use to help professionals like Anshul Jubli and Tarun Yadav prepare for the cage.
We start with the basics—the armbars, the chokes, the escapes—because those are the only techniques that hold up in a real fight. You get full access to Gi and No-Gi grappling, takedown defense, and the all-important strength training I swear by. I do not care about the 'pump' from a bicep curl. I care about building the kind of functional strength that helps you control your opponent when you are tired and the cage door is locked.
If you are training at home, I bring the full expertise to your living room. We need a clear space, but I bring the intensity. If you are joining the group at Sainik Farm, you get the full environment: professional mats, live sparring against resisting opponents, and a community of fighters who are here to get better, not just to work out. It is a no-nonsense environment. If you want a place to pose for pictures, go elsewhere. If you want to become a harder person to handle on the mat, let's train.
Gaurav Gulliya
I'm Gaurav, and my mat is a space for real progress, not shortcuts. I’ve been grappling since the day a BJJ coach rag-dolled me, and I’ve never looked back. I don't teach theory; I teach what works when things get chaotic.
