Beyond my signature collections, I love experimenting with new textures and creative partnerships. Explore a blend of metal, fabric, and eclectic materials crafted with a personal touch.

This beautiful Dokhra neckpiece was a collaboration with another artist. I used my collection of cords and beads to assemble this piece, and I love how the final design turned out.

Another piece from my Dokhra collaboration. For this one, I used a red cord with antique gold beads and tubes to complement the intricate metalwork of the pendant.

The third piece from the Dokhra collaboration, featuring a black cord with playful yellow and black tassels that highlight the traditional motifs in the pendant.

A showcase of the incredible variety in my work. These neckpieces are a true mix of media, incorporating fabric, wood, metal, glass, and even paper to create unique, eclectic designs.

If you love handmade things, you have come to the right place. This video is a quick tour of my diverse collection, from wall plates to jewellery. Send me a screenshot of anything you like for more details.

About this collection

I recently had the pleasure of working on a series of Dokhra metalwork pendants, collaborating with fellow artist Devyani. I paired these intricate metal pieces with hand-selected antique gold beads and cotton cords from my own studio archives to create a finished look that honours traditional craftsmanship.

My creative journey is rarely limited to one medium. While I have my roots in terracotta and wood painting, I find immense joy in stepping outside those boundaries to work with paper, glass, and metal. This section represents that exploratory side of my studio, where I get to play with form and function in new ways.

The Art of Collaboration

Many pieces here were born from collaborations. When another artist approaches me, it is usually because they trust my eye for detail and my extensive collection of raw materials. For the Dokhra necklaces featured here, the process was fluid. I was given free rein to choose the cords, beads, and assembly style to best highlight the beautiful metalwork. These projects are particularly special to me because they merge my aesthetic with another creator's vision.

Why Mixed Media Matters

I believe that jewellery should tell a story, and sometimes, a single material is not enough. By combining different elements, such as fabric scraps from my Kalamkari stash or upcycled wooden combs turned into pendants, I create pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind. It is a slow process of trial and error, seeing how textures interact and how colours balance. If you are looking for something that stands out from standard commercial designs, these eclectic, mixed-media pieces are for you. They are not mass-produced, and each has a small, unique story behind its assembly.

I believe art shouldn't be confined to one medium. When I'm not sculpting clay or painting wood, I'm often experimenting with metal, glass, and fabrics to see what new stories they can tell. My studio is a playground of textures, and I love creating pieces that feel as authentic and eclectic as the people who wear them.
