Handcrafted Indian Art Jewellery
A curated look at my most cherished hand-painted pieces, where Indian traditions meet everyday wearability.
This is the magic of handmade art. I love showing how a simple clay form of Maa Durga is transformed with careful painting and detailing into a piece full of divine glory. It’s a spiritual experience for me every single time.
A majestic peacock, brought to life with real Tanjore gold foil against a rich red background. This wearable art piece is sealed with resin to protect its intricate gesso work and brilliant shine, making it a truly royal accessory.
The timeless elegance of a Kerala mural painting on a wooden pendant. Paired with a traditional Kasavu saree, this piece captures the subtle grace of South Indian art, making it a statement of cultural pride.
Watch my terracotta jewels come alive. This is a story about mud that I knead, mold, and bake. Each piece is then hand-painted with care, so you get to wear a story that’s handmade just for you.
I believe in giving beautiful objects a new life. Here, I've transformed a simple wooden comb into a vibrant, hand-painted statement necklace. This is my vision of sustainable, wearable art.
I source beautiful, GI-tagged textiles like Kalamkari from Andhra and Kutch embroidery from Gujarat to create these unique fabric pendants. It’s my way of celebrating and preserving India's rich textile heritage in my jewellery.
One of my favourite custom orders. I painted this matching set of three peacock pendants for a mother and her two young daughters. Creating pieces that connect families and tell their stories is the greatest joy of my work.
About this collection
These pieces are not off-the-shelf items. Because each necklace or pendant involves slow processes like kneading clay, curing gesso, or painting intricate miniature details, it can take up to 15 days to finish a single piece. If you are looking for jewellery that feels like art rather than just an accessory, these are the creations I am most proud to share.
My featured collection is a blend of my favourite techniques and the stories I love to tell. When I work with Tanjore art, I use real 24k gold foil and gesso to bring that regal, traditional shine into a wearable format. These are sealed under resin, so despite the delicate look, they are durable enough for regular wear.
Then there is the terracotta. This is where I go back to the basics. I knead, mold, and bake the clay myself. The earthy, vibrant colours you see on these sets come from hand-painting, not mass production. It is a slow, tactile process that connects me to the roots of Indian folk art.
You will also find pieces where I mix textiles with wood. I source GI-tagged fabrics like Kalamkari from Andhra or Kutch embroidery from Gujarat and set them into hand-painted wooden pendants. It is my way of celebrating our textile heritage in a modern, casual way.
Whether it is a custom set for a family or a single statement piece, each item here represents years of practice. Since I am based in Bengaluru, I ship across India. If you see something that speaks to you, just let me know, and we can start a conversation about getting it to you.
Greengold
I am the artist behind these pieces, and for me, every single one is a story. Whether I am painting a divine face on wood or sculpting terracotta clay, my goal is to create something that feels like an extension of who you are. I have been working with these Indian art forms for 11 years now, and sharing them with you is truly the best part of my day.
