About this collection
Our coaching team functions more like an in-house sports department than an external vendor. When we train at schools like Ahlcon International or DPS GBN, we focus on the fundamental 'pair sahi rakho' (keep your feet right) approach, ensuring every student builds a solid base before they start competing in our inter-school championships.
At GGems Squash Academy, we believe that sport is about discipline and structure. We are not just teaching children how to hit a ball; we are guiding them through a process that helps them grow, both as athletes and individuals.
The GGems Coaching Philosophy
We operate with a clear, step-by-step methodology. Whether it is a beginner just learning to hold the racket or an advanced player preparing for SGFI tournaments, our focus remains on:
- Fundamental Mastery: We prioritize footwork and racket prep over raw power. We believe that if the movement is correct, the swing comes naturally.
- Mentorship over Instruction: Our coaches are present to guide, correct, and encourage. We build relationships with our students, making the academy feel like an extension of their school family.
- Structured Progression: From U-9 balloon drills to high-intensity HIIT for teenagers, our programs are age-appropriate and focused on long-term athletic development.
Building the Squash Community
We are deeply involved in the grassroots squash ecosystem. Beyond daily coaching, we organize large-scale inter-school tournaments that bring together over 30 schools and 200+ students. This experience allows us to provide students with a competitive platform to test their skills and learn the importance of sportsmanship and match strategy in a real-world environment.
We currently operate at various locations, including Ahlcon International, DPS GBN, Gyanshree, Prometheus, and Yamuna Sports Complex. We are always looking to bring this structured training to more institutions that value sports development.

I am Gyanendra Prajapati, and for me, being a coach is about being a guide. My team and I focus on the small details—your footwork, your grip, and your focus—to make sure every student gets a strong start in squash.
